Absolute Beginner
(32 Count Intro’).
Section 1 – (Toe Touch, Flick) x2, Stomp x2, Clap x2.
1-2Touch right toe to right side, flick right foot up behind left leg.
3-4Touch right toe to right side, flick right foot up behind left leg.
Option: When Flicking right foot up slap foot with left hand.
5-6Stomp right beside left stomp left beside right.
7-8Clap Twice (12 o’clock)
Section 2 – (Toe Touch, Flick) x2, Stomp x2, Clap x2.
1-2Touch left toe to left side, flick left foot up behind right leg.
3-4Touch left toe to left side, flick left foot up behind right leg.
Option: When Flicking left foot up slap foot with right hand.
5-6Stomp left beside right stomp right beside left.
7-8Clap Twice (12 o’clock)
Section 3 – Slow Left Chasse, Toe Touch, Slow Right Chasse, Toe Touch.
1-2Step left to left side, close right beside left.
3-4Step left to left side, touch right toe beside left.
5-6Step right to right side, close left beside right
7-8Step right to right side, touch left toe beside right.. (12 o’clock)
Section 4 – Side Step, Toe Touch, ¼ Turn Left, Toe Touch, Slow Chasse Left, Toe Touch.
1-2Step left to left side, touch right toe beside left.
3-4Make a quarter turn left stepping right to right side, touch left toe beside right.
5-6Step left to left side, close right beside left.
7-8Step left to left side, touch right toe beside left. (9 o’clock)
Choreographers Note: Towards the end of the track the music will pause, carry on dancing to the end of the wall (you’ll be facing the front now),
then do the first two sections of dance but now the music will be a lot slower, you will end with the 2 claps to finish!
