This dance was choreographed via email, hence the name "Across the Miles"
STEP ACROSS LEFT, SIDE TOUCH, COASTER CROSS, ½ PIVOT TURN (LEFT), STEP-LOCK FORWARD
1Right - step forward across left
2Left - touch toe out to side (lay left hand on left thigh)
3Left - step backward (on ball of foot)
&Right - step together (on ball of foot)
4Left - step forward across right

6Pivot on (balls of both feet), turn ½ left

&Left - step up behind right foot
8Right - step forward
KICK-HITCH-N-TURN (½ TURN RIGHT), HEEL TOUCH, SIDE STEP-TOUCH, SIDE STEP-TOUCH
9Left - slightly kick forward or scuff
10Left - bend knee upward while pivoting ½ turn on (ball of) right foot
