Amy Christian (born in Singapore, in 1959), grew up in a musical family. She has a huge passion for singing and dancing and hence was always performing and competing, with her sisters. They were popularly known as ‘The Christian Sisters”.
Amy has been dancing for over 40 years. As a young girl at 12 years of age, she started with Classical East Indian Dance. Ever ready and keen to learn any genre of dance. Amy has studied Hip Hop, Salsa, Flamenco, Ballroom, Lindy Hop. Upon discovering Line Dance in 2001, she was hooked. She has competed and she has won many dance competitions in the past. She immensely enjoys both teaching and performing, she keeps up with the international dance standards, while at the same time, she will help her students improve skills and techniques. Amy loves to choreograph dances. Her dances, Feels So Good, Jai Ho, Don’t Cha Wish, Dark Side, Always, Wrapped Inside Your Love, Are You Ready?, Clap Along and many more,… are taught and danced around the world. Amy gets invited to teach at events and workshops,.. all over the US and around the world. Here are some of the places she has traveled to teach at,… Australia, Japan, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Canada. Amy resides in Michigan, US and continues to teach dance… with a passion.
