In the year 2000 I was introduced to Line dancing by my wife Glenys who had been doing this for about a year on her own... unfortunately in 1999 I had to give up all dancing for over a year whilst I recovered from heart surgery.. it was a terrific blow to me not being able to dance for that length of time... but I had to get fit again before I could dance to my normal routines.
So... I added yet another string to my dancing bow... and very soon I was bitten again by another bug!... the Line Dancing one.
In 2003 after a lot of pressure from fellow dancers I started to look into the art of choreography. I was given a piece of music by Diane Sykes of Di'Mond Spurs to work on... and less than one week later I had choreographed some basic dance steps... and published my first line dance... 'I FELL' and the rest, as they say, is history.
I have now choreographed over 100 dances to date... and I am now concentrating on writing to Latin music... mostly with Internationally recognised rhythms from the Ballroom floor... the ones that I love to dance.
