You know this is a 64 count dance?

Pismo August 13, 2018
Two-steps can be counted either way. I prefer the syncopated counts as this one is written to 1-2-3 hold 4.

How can this be a 64 count dance?

Pismo August 21, 2018
1,2,3, HOLD 4, 5, 6, 7, HOLD 8, etc. The first set as written would become two sets, the second would become two, etc.

OK, does a good job of interpreting the music and will hold the dancers' interest and give them a sense of accomplishment. But the consecutive jazz boxes with the turn in the first one is awkward, especially awkward if you finish the first with the step forward on the left as prescribed. So that costs it a star. I'm keeping the two jazz boxes but I'm having my dancers move the turn into the second.
