Position: The Dance begins with a Circle, Men facing LOD in single file. Couples are in the Closed Waltz Position. Basic Step is a waltz rhythm 1,2,3, 4,5,6. Man left foot lead & Lady right foot lead (one Step for each Beat of music)
1-2-3Progress forward in LOD
4-5-6Scissor step
1-2-3Give lady an inside loop turn (to the left) & position her to the inside of dance floor
4-5-6Man does an inside loop turn (to the left)
Both end up facing into circle with lady on his left side
1-2-3Move the circle in making it smaller
4-5-6Let go of partners hand. Everyone cross left hand on top, right hand on bottom & take the hand of the partner on either side of you
1-2-3Raise hands up over your head & pivot to left so all dancers are facing outside. Don't let go of hands!!!
4-5-6Move the circle out just slightly
1-6Men take the lady on your left with your left hand. Give her two inside loop turns (to the left) out to the LOD. Man facing LOD
REPEAT
