Hi. I have started line dancing again after stopping in 2006. I began in 1994. I am wondering where you got the information from that says the vine(or frieze) is only done once, at the beginning of the dance. I have the original copy from Terry Hogan (Australia) back in 1993/1994 and their is mention of that, the vine/frieze is part of the dance.

i agree. I wasn't taught this way (sheet on copperknob) and don't teach it that way either. I have several diff step sheets from clubs, other teachers etc from around that time, and they all are the same. The vine is part of the dance and continues throughout the dance - beginning the dance. The dance ends with a step back on R turning 1/4 turn. I feel that the sheet here and the steps look very awkward. Particularly in such early days the 90's, why would they choreograph a dance with the first 3 steps only done once?
