This dance is based on the original line dance by Jo Thompson
 
1-2Rock forward with left foot, recover weight back to right foot
3-4Small step back with left foot, hold
5-6Rock back with right foot, recover weight forward to left foot
7-8Small step forward with right foot, hold
 
9-11Step left foot across in front of right, step right foot to right side, step left foot across in front of right
12Right toe will draw a ½ circle along the floor from the back, out to the right side, to the front
13-15Step right foot across in front of left, step left foot to left side, step right foot across in front of left
16Left toe will draw a ½ circle along the floor from the back, out to the left side, to the front
 
17-19Step left foot across in front of right, step right foot to right side, step left foot crossed behind right
20Right toe will draw a ½ circle from the front, out to the right side, to the back
21-23Step right foot crossed behind left, step left foot to left side, step right foot across in front left
24Hitch left foot (both) while man drops lady's left hand
 
25-27MAN: Walk around ¼ turn right to lady's left side on left-right-left
 LADY: Make a 1 ¼ turn right on left-right-left turning under the man's right arm
28BOTH: Hitch right foot while man takes lady's left hand (to sweetheart position)
29-30Rock forward with right foot, recover weight back to left foot
31-32Rock forward with right foot and scuff

REPEAT
Dance starts and continues in same line with line dancers. Counts 1 to 23 and 29 to 30 are danced to the same steps as the line dance choreographed by Jo Thompson but in sweetheart position.
