I'm trying to make sense of this dance. The song you propose is 3/4 time. As I see it, one way this stepsheet could possibly work is if the dancer took one step per measure. Even then you've got the two weight transfers in a measure of three to deal with in sections 3 and 4. Or maybe you're intending canter rhythm all along in which case sections 1 and 2 would take 4 measures each rather than 8. That could uncomplicate the &'s in sections 3 and 4, changing "steps" 3& 4 to regular waltz time.

When choreographers are going to do something weird with waltz time I think they have to start by dealing with the tempo on its own terms and not pretend they're working with ordinary duple time music. And they have to use waltz terminology. No square pegs into round holes.

Basically, without a demo video this stepsheet is a mess. Please post a demo so I can see what you're thinking. The song is worthy of a good dance. Right now I don't see this as the on
