Hayley taught this a couple of Monday’s ago and is building up her confidence in teaching. Kim Ray taught me it so she asked me to recap it. Very quick recap. Most of it was just clarification on timing. When learning the dance I was like this is a bit meh and dismissed as a 5 minute wonder. Once the music came on you realise how perfectly the steps/music marry together. Enough variety of steps in there to keep dancers of all levels interested and ones that just hit the beat. Lesson learnt here, don’t judge a dance on its steps until you’ve actually danced it through with the music. P.S. Looking for a floor split for beginners? I’ve always danced “Stroll-A-Long Cha Cha” to it.

Dance suits and interprets the music really, really well. But I have to also love the music to vote 5 stars. And here I don't. So this only gets 4 from me.
