Great Piece of Music and think it will be a great dance teach for the Intermediate dancers in our club who love country music and who will like the traditional steps Steve has put into his dance.

Cowboy STEVE . . . you wrote in a 1/4 turn right (cw) at the toe scuff stomp . . but it is NOT in the video . . . and if the 1/4 cw turn were included . . this would be a one wall dance . . please advise . . thank you . . . would like to teach but need clarification . . .

Hello dancemomma, thank you for the contact, I am happy to clarify for you. This is indeed a 4 Wall dance, and each time you start at the beginning you should be one quarter turn ccw from the wall you last started on. Great eye on the video; for clarification, the style of one step may differ between levels depending on how they finish the syncopated weave night club step of the second 8 count. You will need to do a CW 1 quarter turn; IF when your left foot lands over right your hip orientation is at the front wall. However, after having taught this dance at workshops and danced it a number of times; I believe it is easier for most people to cross the left foot over right at the end of the 2nd 8 count and have your hips facing the new wall there. It is such a fun dance, and the video is correct for demo purposes! Feel free to follow the step sheet, or enjoy the variation of opening up your hips to the second wall(3 oclock) as you finish the 2nd 8 count. Either way enjoy the dance and please feel free to post a video of you dancing it! I will look forward to seeing how the video looks from your dance venue! Thank you for the comment

Steve,
I love this song and I like the way it's demoed. Problem is the way it's written (counts 1-16) isn't the way you dance it in the demo. There are no "&" steps anywhere in the demo and counts 8 and 16 are holds. We're old you be willing to correct the sheet?
