Hi Jan
Thank you for your comments. There are indeed many dances with the same name and music as this one. It is actually a dance I choreographed many years ago for a new beginner class that I started. It was never published but as I now have a whole new group of beginners I decided to teach it and also publish it
Thanks again for your comments

Cotton Eyed Joe is a classic tune, there are numerous dances choreographed to it.
It's up to the choreographer to name her dance in any fashion she wishes.
Thank you Sue for reposting it, we now can teach to our Beginners group.

Taught this to my U3A dancers this afternoon and they loved it. They commented that it's really nice to do a nice easy dance to country music ;)
