Absolute beginner??? If I taught this to my absolute beginners they would run for the hills and empty my club

I think after 4 to 6 weeks of dancing they should be able to dance this. How long is one an absolute beginner? It is often difficult to find the appropriate level description. It could be called easy beginner.

After 6 weeks they would not be 'absolute' beginners so the dance should be classified as a beginner.

This raises the question whether absolute beginner is a useful label to begin with. For how long is one an absolute beginner? 1 class? And if it is not useful, why is the word absolute not removed before the step sheet is published here?
