Short Story of The Lambeth Walk :
This dance was born in 1936 in England and knew a certain popularity. She owes her name to Lambeth Walk, a street of a district from Lambeth to London.

You can see The Lambeth Walk in the musical “Me and My Girl” : https://youtu.be/Mc6XUus5IC4.
In 1938, Ray Ventura and his schoolchildren adapt a French song : https://youtu.be/WNo7lKm9LwU.

*40 years later, Dalida updates her in memory of her mother who sang this small English tune at home when she and her brothers were children.

In 2015, David Linger adds his personal touch and invites you to go back in the 30’s !!!

BE COOL, SMILE & HAVE FUN !!!
