Count In: 8 counts from start of track, dance begins on vocals. Approx 120 bpm
Notes: Tag – end of 2nd wall there is an 8 count tag, you will be facing 6.00.
Rolling 8: The dance has been choreographed using what is known as “rolling count” as in &a 1&a, 2&a, 3&a, 4&a etc.
Once you have the rhythm you may want to just count with regular “&” counts however I have broken it down on the step sheet in timing with the music using ‘a’ instead of ‘&’.

Thank You from all of the lay-people for your explanation of "Rolling Count." It helps! There are many such terms that have appeared on step sheets in the last few years. Line Dance enthusiasts here often have discussions about what these terms might mean. I have heard several instructors contradict one another. Finding a good answer on the web has been challenging, to say the least, and I often find contradictions there also.
