I love to sing and dance and have been line dancing since the 90’s. I have been teaching line dancing for the past 10 years and it is my passion. It is so gratifying to see my student’s progress from the introduction levels into the higher levels of line dance. I also have a performance group called, “Out-Of-Line Dancers”. We perform at senior centers, local shows and various parties and events.
My inspiration for choreography comes when I hear a great song. Whether it’s an old classic, a country song or just a song that has a good beat. My feet start moving and the wheels start turning as I start to imagine the dance coming together. It is so important to keep moving and stay healthy as we age and line dancing gives us that opportunity.
Yvonne Krause has choreographed 204 dances, of which none have been co-choreographed. Their first published stepsheet on CopperKnob is Mexico from October 2007, with their most recent stepsheet of Right Here Right Now in June 2024.
