This dance can also be done contra style with two lines facing each other so that when facing dancers step forward on steps 11,12 they can slap hands

1-2Step right foot to right; cross-step left foot behind right
3-4Step right foot to right; stomp left foot next to right (no weight change)
5-6Step left foot to left; cross-step right foot behind left
7-8Step left foot to left; stomp right foot next to left (no weight change)
BACK, BACK, FORWARD, STOMP, WALK BACK, BACK, BACK, STOMP
9-10Step right foot back, step left foot back
11-12Step right foot forward; stomp left foot next to right (no weight change)
13-14Step right foot back, step left foot back
15-16Step right foot back, stomp left foot next to right (no weight change)
