Contra-ish option:
Start the dance in two lines. First line faces 12:00, second line faces 6:00. You will come together and go apart, but the lines will never cross each other. It’s a fun, different way of doing the dance if you so choose.

After 2 or 3 lessons on basics, new dancers will get this nice n easy dance.

Restart on wall 4 !

MaggieS January 12, 2024
This dance was choreographed with NO tags and NO restarts as it is an AB dance. The dance eventually lines back up at the next chorus if you continue through the dance which is why I intentionally did not do a restart. Do not add a restart to this dance as it is not in the choreography or the step sheet and is clearly stated that the bottom to not make any changes. Thanks.

Beginner dancers are capable of doing restarts, especially when they are obvious.
It rather disturbs them not to do it!!!
Don't worry, I won't teach a dance that doesn't respect the musical listening of beginner dancers

MaggieS January 24, 2024
Thank you! :)

Clément January 31, 2024
Maybe you didn't even hear the restart :)

DianeEllis February 9, 2024
MaggieS: I taught this dance to 100 AB dancers this morning and they LOVE the fact that it does not use a restart. Well done!

BrettBasketball February 10, 2024
Agree with Diane. Taught to 50 ABs today and they love it without the restart because it lines up again! You’re great with AB choreography so keep it up. Don’t listen to the haters… they only hate because they can’t do what you do! ;-D

Clément February 12, 2024
LOL :-D
It's easy to say not to do the restart when you have no musical sensitivity!
Your poor dancers :-(

Clément February 12, 2024
BrettBasketball, you say "It lines up again" : It' wrong !!!!
there is always a 16 beat delay until the end

Clément February 13, 2024
It's up to you to make them work on their musical listening rather than making them dance without restarting!!!
otherwise use music without restarting!!!
