Canadian born Kerri Lessard and her family moved from Calgary, Alberta to Atlanta, Georgia in April 1997. She discovered her love of line dancing in 2005 at Wild Bills Dance and Concert Hall in Duluth, Georgia and in the years that followed also discovered a creative passion for choreography.
Kerri trained with the National Teachers Association of Country Western Dance and holds accreditation for levels one through three. She won second place at the Wild Bills Breast Cancer Dance Contest and first place in a ‘fun’ competition at another local area nightclub. Kerri took fourth place in the choreography competition at the 2014 Line Dance Marathon for “Stomp and Holler”.
Kerri has taught classes in various locations in the Atlanta area and currently teaches a weekly intermediate line dance class in Suwanee, Georgia.
Kerri Lessard has choreographed 19 dances, of which none have been co-choreographed. Their first published stepsheet on CopperKnob is Little Gucci from Feburary 2011, with their most recent stepsheet of Perfectly Easy in May 2019.
