Jef Camps, also known as Jeffke or Lil' Jeff, is a multi-awardwinning Belgian choreographer, instructor, DJ and Event Organizer.
In 2009, he started teaching his own dance classes at 15 years old. He did not only teach country and newline, but also had a special class dedicated to couple and partner dancing. Today he still teaches twice a week, a 3,5 hrs dance class in his hometown Beringen, a former coalminers' city.
After teaching dance classes & instructor workshops for multiple national organizations & local event organizers, and participating in many international competitions, he soon got the chance to travel abroad and share his passion for dance with several crowds around the world. First, he got the chance to teach at smaller events throughout Europe, but later on he got also invited to teach and perform often at most of the prestigious dance events around the world such as Crystal Boot Awards (Blackpool, UK), Vegas Dance Explosion (Las Vegas, USA), KOLDA LD Festival (Seoul, South Korea), Mayworth (Tamworth, Australia), Windy City LD Mania (Chicago, USA), UCWDC Japan (Tokyo, Japan), Festiline (Liévin, France) and much more...
Dance has been Jeffkes main passion and he hopes to have the chance to keep on sharing this with lots of dancers around the world in the years to come.
Jef Camps has choreographed 184 dances, of which 147 have been co-choreographed. Their first published stepsheet on CopperKnob is Picture Perfect Memories from June 2010, with their most recent stepsheet of Slow Motion in March 2025.
Additionally, Jef Camps had a CopperKnob no.1 dance in August 2023 with Barbie Dreams, and has recently had 2 other dances in the top 10.
