Esella is a two time IGRA Country Western Intermediate Div. Dance Champion and UCWDC line dance and couples competitor. She began teaching Country Western dance in Chicago in the mid ‘90’s. Her lifelong hobby and love of Tap and many other forms of dance, has led her to performing, teaching, choreography, and dance competitions.
She’s currently teaching Contemporary Line Dancing I and II, at AB Tech, in the Continuing Ed Department at the Asheville, NC Campus.
Esella Thompson has choreographed 7 dances, of which 1 has been co-choreographed. Their first published stepsheet on CopperKnob is Tuesday's Strut from October 2007, with their most recent stepsheet of Please Come Home Swing in October 2018.
