Why the delay in releasing this one? Wanted to teach it in November when it was written, but there are too many other good dances and choreographers out there, so now I’ll be giving it a swerve for more current releases!

That's your choice Kato hope you find another great dance to teach in classes ... Sometimes you have to keep dances back when you have so many events to teach them at .. otherwise you go to an event and most have learnt the dance and you can't keep writing dances week after week ... AND with Xmas that was just around the corner it would have got lost in the holidays ... HOPE that this answers your rude comment Julie

Kato, there’s a word in these lyrics that’s describing you!

Loving this Julie and Nev I shall definitely be teaching this this week. The footwork interprets the music perfectly and the song is brilliant.

Julie and Neville, there are plenty of people willing to do your dances. I for one am not dismissing any dance because I am not satisfied with the timing of releasing a dance script. I will teach the dances I know will be danced at many places to keep my dancers happy. And Bloodstone will definitely be one of them. Thanks to all choreographers that spends all this time to choreograph and write scripts without getting anything else but the satisfaction of seeing people happy on the dance floor.

Love this dance and fab track

Kato's comment is a personal statement and legitimate for him/her. Julie's explanation was satisfactory, but should have ended without the last phrase. There is inordinate pressure on event instructors to present something new, because event directors think that NEW means more attendees. It's a vicious cycle. I, too, have been frustrated when I want to teach a dance but a script is being held back so the dance can be taught "new" at another event. My choice is to grit my teeth and wait or move on. It is what it is.

Thank you Pismo for your wise comments. I do understand the need to keep dances back for events. However, I don’t know why they are added on the site by just name and track, causing the frustration you mention. I feel it would be better to just not advertise them until they are actually released. Don’t think the aggressive comments were warranted though - it was only an opinion.
